Horses of 2008

Fresca:  Born April 18, 2008.    Fresca is a lovely little filly with an enormous overreach and a beautiful, feminine face. Daughter of the stunning 17hh Westphalen stallion , her sire, Freestyle, has a very athletic body, well applied hindquarters and a super character. At the 100 day Performance test at Prussendorf he was awarded a perfect 10 for character and a 9 for temperament. In dressage he proved to rank amongst the best of his year and received a 9.33 for ridability. His total score was 132.55 points. Showing his athleticism, Freestyle obtained a 7th place finish in jumping with an 8 for ability and the overall winner of his performance test. Freestyle is a son of the famous Rhinelander stallion Florestan I, who was champion of the Rhineland approvals in 1998, and in 1989 he was champion of his performance testing in Warendorf. Florestan I has produced famous stallions as Fidermark, Florencio, Faveur, Fleurop, Furst Heinrich. Florestan I has taken the top position in the FN breeding values for a number of years. Just as famous on his dams side, SPS Paloma was awarded, along with her 4 sisters, the “Best Family of Hessen,” for 4 years in a row.

The Fox, a competitive dressage horse throughout her young years, exhibits extreme trainability combined with the best of dispositions. Fox has shown athleticism in both the hunter jumper ring, as well as the dressage ring. Even at a very young age, The Fox has been deemed reliable enough for small children to ride. She has an exceptional hind leg and a beautiful, expressive eye. At her Hanoverian inspection, The Fox scored 8s on her head and neck and 7s on her topline. Unfortunately due to injury, The Fox has been retired to breeding. She is branded Hanoverian and approved with both the Hanoverian and the ISR/Oldenburg. Fox is by the Hanoverian stallion Freestyle who combines the bloodlines of Werther and Bolero.    Fresca will be branded Oldenburg in July. Please contact Stacie Coder, Milestone Equine Center, for more information.  $9500

Phoenix Born April 23, 2008.   Chamira's first colt arrived on April 23 and has proven to be an exceptional little fellow. Gorgeous coloring and extremely correct development, this little colt should excel in any discipline chosen. Phoenix is by the highly popular stallion Pablo, a modern type stallion who is built very strong through the body with a beautiful refined head. Pablo's pedigree is well known for its exceptional jumping talent, a gift from his sire, Pilot, and also his dressage recognition, traits acquired through his lineage to Graphit. He is a proven stallion in Europe with 16 approved sons, including Prinz Pablo, Pablito and Paparazzo. In 2004 at the 3 yr old Swedish national testing, 5 Pablo offspring qualified and the highest scoring mare nationwide was a Pablo daughter. With over 500 offspring competing successfully, placing in jumping and dressage up through Advanced "S" classes, Pablo is approved through multiple registries. Many offspring have competed at the Grand Prix level, in both dressage and jumpers, with several competing in international FEI classes. In 2005 in the US, Pablo was the top producer of offspring winnings with more offspring competing at Grand Prix level than any other stallion currently standing in the US. Pablo produces serious talent for both dressage and jumper breeders.

A premium filly herself, Chamira developed into an outstanding athlete, competitive in not only dressage, but also the jumpers. She is a MMB Oldenburg with an excellent score of 103 points and the ability to acquire premium status once the mare performance test is completed. Chamira's sire, Rainbow, is the only German approved and 100-Day tested Class 1 Warmblood Pinto, with an excellent score of 121.74. He is also the only Pinto stallion approved in Germany for eight breeding Verbands. In Europe he dominated the jumper Suitabilities and 4'-4'3" Divisions. Currently competing in the US, he continually acquires 9's for his style and technique.
Phoenix, given the best of both parents, should be an outstanding athlete with an exceptional disposition. He will be branded Oldenburg in July 2008. $14,500
